 West of the Superstition Mountains, where the McDowell Mountains frame the Sonoran desert town of Scottsdale, there is a resort hotel unlike any other in the world, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Sonoran Splash featuring two of the longest resort water slides in Arizona along with four heated swimming pools. There is a new world-class 44,000 square foot Willow Stream Spa and a variety of activities like water basketball and volleyball, bicycling, lagoon fishing and nature hikes.
Hotel amenities include: Outdoor pool, mini-bar, restaurant, lounge, two adjacent 18-hole TPC golf courses, one which is home to the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open, Willow Stream Spa with roof top pool, iron and board, telephone with dataport, hairdryers, voicemail, coffee service in each guestroom, 24 hour room service, twice daily maid service and daily newspaper. Hotel business amenities include: Full service business center, computer, internet access, dataports, faxing and copy service. The Fairmont has now opened the Fairmont Kids Club, with activities for kids 5-12 years, complimentary to hotel guest. Open from 8am to 4pm, lunch and a snack are an addtional $12 per child. By popular demand, "Dive-In Movies" will return to the Fairmont from May 23 through September 6, 2003. Just sit and watch movies on the big screen by the pool (or in the pool) - complimentary for guests on Friday and Saturday evenings.
